Amato Opera's Final Curtain Call
The New York Times ran an article this morning on the final performance at Amato Opera on Sunday . While it could never compete with the Met or City Opera, Amato truly was a labor of love and the performances I saw at Amato simply exuded delight and love of singing and I remember them fondly.
